Keep in touch
There are monthly CSR newsletters available produced by the
Community Action Officers which are published on GrapeVine
www.grapevine.derby.anglican.org – see the top of
right hand information box on the GrapeVine home page for
a link. Newsletters include information about Funding, Training,
Schemes and Resources which may be of benefit to people engaged
in their community or parish magazine editors who can glean
items of local or particular interest. To receive a prompt
for these newsletters please email or telephone CSR.
CSR Officers welcome your requests
or feedback. Items you wish to be sent out in our regular
newsletter can be sent
direct to CSR (editing may be necessary). It is our aim to
respond to requests from Parishes / local churches / Christian
groups which tie in with the Councils’ priorities.
We are also interested in information about your involvement
as a Christian individual in your community or how we can
support you in your aspirations for developing your involvement.
Funding
Social Responsibility manages two funds:
1. Project Fund: start
up funding for community projects of up to £1000. For
more details see the Project
Fund page.
2. Lone Parent Fund:
funding for lone parents in specific crisis, indirect applications
only accepted, by letter from
clergy / minister or recognised voluntary organisation. See
lone parent fund page for
more details.
N.B. The Lone Parent Fund is almost exhausted for this
financial year (Jan 2006-December 2006). Please make
contact to clarify
this position before applying this financial year. In the case of the Project Fund it is recommended that applicants
contact one of the Community Action Officers to discuss the
application prior to completion.
Donations to either of these funds
can be made by cheque to “Derby Diocesan Board of Finance”.
