'Don't stop at the Lights'
New
worship resources links liturgical seasons to climate change
‘Don’t
Stop at the Lights’, by Claire Foster and David Shreeve,
Church House Publishing, 2008. ISBN 9780715141380 ‘Don’t Stop at the Lights’ is a brand new worship
resource book from the best selling authors of ‘How Many
Lightbulbs Does It Take To Change A Christian?’
It provides
ideas for worship for each main season, from Advent to Trinity
and ordinary time as well. There are study notes and sermon points,
practical ideas and meditations. Appendices list useful environmental
dates, resources and contacts.
The book is commended by Dr. Rowan
Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury and is reasonably priced
at £14.99.
This is a handy volume to make it much easier
for busy incumbents, worship teams and others to reflect Christian
concern for God’s creation in the regular worshipping life
of the church community. Highly recommended! The Rev’d Canon Donald C Macdonald
September 16th 2008.
