Welcome to the Derby Diocesan Board of Education pages

The Bible tells us that children and young people were important to Jesus. Indeed, He rebuked those who tried to keep children away from Him. Through our 110 Church Schools and the support we offer to parishes and MMAs our intent is to take the words of Our Lord seriously and to engage with those who are responsible for the day to day nurture of children and young people in a relevant, lively and affirming manner.

Youth and childrens survey 2011

The Board of Education is conducting a survey into the state of youth and childrens work in Derby Diocese.

A  copy of this survey has gone to every PCC secretary  (they also have am SAE) as well as to each incumbent and each youth and childrens leader on the old database.

We would be grateful if this survey could be returned to Alistair Langton at Derby Church House by mid January.
