The Bishop of Derby is holding two important meetings over the next week, at which clergy and laity from across the Diocese can continue to feed in their views and reactions to the Bishop's recent visitation.
Bishop Alastair held a series of meetings before Christmas and then set up a series of working groups to look at key ways of developing the life of the Diocese.
The Bishop will hear feedback from clergy, readers and wardens on their responses to the Visitation at St. John's Walton on Thursday 23rd April and Melbourne Parish Church on Monday 27th April. The meetings start at 7.30pm with tea and coffee available from 7.00pm.
Bishop Alastair will eventually be able to feed back the various responses to Bishop's Council and the Diocesan Synod as the Church of England in the region continues find new and exciting ways of meeting the challenge of ministry in the area.
