Following the success of the "Vision for Growth" Fresh Expressions Day in Bakewell in February, we are holding two follow-up evenings in the Diocese, one in each Archdeaconry.
Thursday 25th June at Eyam Parish Centre
and
Tuesday 15th September at St.Alkmund's Church, Derby
both 7.30-9.30pm
These will be a mix of some practical information on setting up Fresh Expressions in parishes and MMAs and inspiration for imagining creative ways forward in mission
The evenings will be hosted by Michael Mitton (Mission and Ministry Development Adviser) and Andy Broom (Vicar, St.John, Walton) and will include four optional presentations. Each of these will be led by people from the diocese involved in related projects. You are invited to choose one:
- Café Church
- Messy Church
- Reaching out to Older People
- Blue sky thinking
It will help greatly in our planning if you let us know in advance if you are coming, so please contact Sharron in the CDDM office indicating which presentation you would like to attend.
All will be very welcome - bring a group from your church.
