‘We believe communication matters'

Bishop Humphrey at Fire Station

(22/07/2009)

The Bishop of Repton will visit Fire Service HQ at Littleover, Derby, on Monday 27th July.

Bishop Humphrey is keen to learn more about some of the issues which the emergency services have to deal with and said today he was looking forward to the fact finding visit.

"We, in the churches, are often called upon to work with the emergency services and part of our major incident plan involves co-ordinating our response pastorally with those who are on the front line," said the Bishop today.

He will be meeting staff for lunch, and then will be taken on a tour of the Kingsway station
