A celebration of faith & football will take place when church members from all over the county attend Derby County’s home fixture with Reading next month (Saturday 28th November).
Tickets, which also include refreshments and a talk from Christians in Sport specialist Steve Miles, are available for individuals and families.
For those who book early there is the added attraction of a stadium tour.
The Bishop of Derby, Dr Alastair Redfern, is hoping to be present at the game and said today: "I think this is a great idea. Football is huge in our country and in our area and it is a way in which families gather together, get some fresh air and play their part in the local community."
He added: "This is a great collaboration between Derby County and the Diocese and I hope to support it myself."
