The Bishop of Derby’s Annual Harvest Appeal

Each autumn churches and schools are invited to raise money for one or more projects in developing countries, which are designed to help churches and communities to combat poverty, improve health and education, support small-scale agriculture, empower women, etc. In recent years countries which have benefited have included Tanzania, the Sudan, India, the Gambia, Brazil, Cambodia and Uganda.

The Bishop’s 2009 Harvest appeal is for Learning and Working in partnership with the Church of North India.
