The Diocese of Derby seeks applications for the post of Archdeacon of Derbyshire Peak and Dales to share in leading the diocese towards our vision of the Kingdom of God as good news for all.

We are seeking a gifted, experienced priest to share in diocesan leadership.You will embody and encourage our values of generous faith, courageous hope and life-giving love, with the skills and godly ambition to drive the emerging priorities arising from our vision. You will work collegiately and collaboratively inmissional delivery of your statutory responsibilities, championing rural and market town contexts acrossthe whole diocese and sit on the DBE playing a key role in our commitment to Growing Younger.

You will be a proven leader, both strategic and tactical, with evidence of having transformed contexts in which you work. You will embrace the diversity and complexity of a diocese that includes urban, post-industrial and rural contexts, and every possible expression of the Church of England. You will have the capacity to listen, engage and to transform; alert to the needs, expectations and potential of people currently under-represented in church life and structures, and of our existing and much-loved worshipping communities.
