The Diocese of Derby is recruiting for a Lay Ministries Officer (LMO). The post holder will be instrumental in strengthening our commitment to developing lay ministries and revitalising Licenced Lay Ministry (Reader) in such a way as to support and enhance the Diocesan vision.

This will be achieved by releasing collaborative leadership and ministry throughout the Diocese to enable an outward focused, local and contextual discipleship and mission.

The LMO, always attentive to the GS ‘Serving Together’ and ‘Everyday Faith’ agendas, will be at the forefront of bringing energy and imagination into shaping the future of all lay ministry within the diocese – new (or renewed) people – in new (or renewed) ways – in new (or renewed) places.
