This is a stimulating and challenging post based in north-east Derbyshire, close to Sheffield and on the edge of the Peak District.

The Team comprises 5 churches:

  • St John’s, the historic (c1135) Parish Church of Dronfield
  • St Swithin’s, Holmesfield
  • St Mary’s, Unstone (LEP)
  • St Andrews, Gosforth Valley, (LEP) based in St. Andrew’s School
  • St Phillips, Holmesdale

Located in a growing village nestling near the edge of the glorious Peak District National Park, we are an established, traditional, village Church with a regular weekly congregation of 60+; one parish with a heart to grow through mission and outreach across all age-groups.

This group of 5 rural parishes known as The Peak Five sits within the heart of Derbyshire Peak District, located to the north of the market town of Ashbourne and within the Deanery of Carsington. This is an interim fixed term post for 3 years.

Wirksworth Team Ministry (WTM) has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and inspired Team Rector to live and serve in a rural area of the beautiful Derbyshire Dales whilst leading the Team forwards into growth. WTM offers:
