Haven Christian Centre (LEP) are prayerfully looking to appoint a part-time ordained Enabling Minister (0.5FTE), this exciting role will work alongside the existing congregation and gather together a revitalisation team to re-establish a mission-focused Christian worshipping community in the Heatherton and Highfields area of Derby.
The Haven is located on the Heatherton estate in Littleover to the Southwest of Derby with good ecumenical relations between the other local churches in Littleover. The church is particularly well located for the Highfields new housing development and further housing developments planned in the area.
Though the church has gone through hard times, the current membership is committed to the vision to see the Lord’s Kingdom growing in our areas and new families have been joining our services. We hope that the enabling minister will bring experience of starting and leading church outreach ministries in a way that engages with the church and wider community. Could this person be you?
