The Revd Julius Anozie will be licensed as Assistant Curate of Kirk Hallam, Diocese of Derby, on Thursday, 23 June 2022 at 9.30 am by the Bishop of Derby in the Bishop’s Chapel, Duffield.

The Revd James Croft, Vicar of Longstone, Curbar and Stoney Middleton, Diocese of Derby, has announced his retirement. Mr Croft’s last day in post will be Sunday, 11 September 2022, with his retirement taking effect from Monday, 12 September 2022. Mr Croft will be moving away from the diocese.

The Revd Nicola Grey, who currently holds Bishop of Derby’s Permission to Officiate as Anglican Chaplain at HMP Foston Hall, Diocese of Derby, will be licensed to the same post on Sunday, 26 June 2022 at 2 pm by the Bishop of Derby at HMP Foston Hall.

The Revd Jonathan Page, Vicar of Belper Christ Church with Turnditch and Priest-in-Charge of Hazelwood, Holbrook and Milford, has also been appointed Assistant Area Dean of Dove and Derwent in the same diocese.

The Revd Carla Vicêncio Prior, Team Vicar in the Wirksworth Team Ministry, Diocese of Derby, has been appointed Canon for Community Learning at Derby Cathedral in the same diocese.

The Revd Edward Whittaker will be licensed as Priest-in-Charge of Hilton with Marston on Dove, Priest-in-Charge of Hatton, and Assistant Curate (to be known as Minister Responsible) of the parishes of Boylestone and Church Broughton with Barton Blount (within the benefice of Boylestone, Church Broughton, Dalbury, Longford, Long Lane, Radbourne, Sutton on the Hill and Trusley), Diocese of Derby, on Wednesday, 10 August 2022 at 7.30 pm by the Bishop of Derby assisted by the Archdeacon of Derbyshire Peak and Dales.
