Creation, Evolution and God? - St Michael's Church, Alvaston - 7.30pm
Anglican, Catholic and Evangelical discussion group. Group coordinator and discussion chair: Clare Merry 07425 280 863 merryclareveronica@gmail.com. Each session will kick off with a speaker or several short speeches on a topic. Participants from all churches are welcome, as well as anyone interested i Science and Faith.

Lunchtime Recital - Derby Cathedral - 1pm
David Whitworth (Countertenor) & Richard Roddis (Tenor)
Make the most of your Friday lunchtime and treat yourself to a relaxed 45-minute recital in the beautiful surroundings of Derby Cathedral.
Free admission with a retiring collection to support the Music at Derby Cathedral.

Rejoice! (Derby Cathedral Choir) - Derby Cathedral - 7.00pm
Derby Cathedral Choir celebrates the end of the academic year with a royal feast of choir music, including Handel Zadok the Priest, Parry I was Glad and Britten Rejoice in the Lamb.
Tickets are £10 online, or £15 on the door

Summer Fair - St Bartholomew, Old Whittington - 11am - 1.30pm

Derby Concert Orchestra Summer Concert - Derby Cathedral - 7pm
Returning to the Cathedral this summer the evening will include Glinka – Ruslan and Ludmilla, Sibelius – Karelia Suite, Shostakovich – Symphony No.7 (“Leningrad”).
Tickets are available now, general admission £15, students & concessions £13, under 18s with a paying adult are free.

Free admission. Wine & soft drinks will be served during the interval – cash donations invited in aid of churchyard repairs.
