To commemorate Anti-Slavery Day there will be an evening of prayer and light on 18 October.
The pilgrimage will begin at 5.15 p.m. at Derby Cathedral for prayers then to St Paul's Chester Green to share the light of the Freedom Candle at 6 p.m. The Convent of the Holy Name will host the Freedom Candle for a Vigil of Prayer and Meditation from 6.45 - 7.45 p.m.
All are welcome to join together for worship and walk to Chester Green. We will then gather at the Convent for the Vigil at 6.45 p.m.
