St Peter’s is located prominently on Derby’s pedestrianised shopping street, across from the Derbion Shopping Centre. The excellent and flexible church building and connected centre are used extensively to serve the needs of the city. St Peter’s is home to a committed and energised worshipping community committed to city centre ministry.
We are seeking a Priest in Charge with the experience to grow the congregation at St Peter’s, as confident disciples of Jesus Christ, equipped to respond missionally to a fast-changing university city, its growing cultural aspirations and new city centre residential communities. You will need to be both an innovative and strategic leader and a generous hearted pastor.
You will be well supported by the committed lay and clergy colleagues at St Peter’s, the recently appointed Area and Assistant Area Dean, and the excellent and growing
relationships with neighbouring churches of both Anglican and other Christian denominations. The Diocese of Derby is committed to your ministerial development, support, and well-being.
