Half-time stipendiary role - 0.5 stipend plus housing for 3 days equivalent plus Sunday
We are looking for an enthusiastic mission-minded priest with a pastoral heart and passion for rural ministry. We hope for someone who can work collaboratively across these village communities: sustaining existing church life creatively and missionally, developing lay ministries, and exploring potential for pastoral reorganisation while innovating new partnerships and forming worshipping communities.
There is significant potential for building upon the seasonal and agricultural cycle, work amongst schools, launching initiatives such as Messy Church or forest church, creating pastoral care teams to support families and the elderly within the community. We are seeking a leader who can inspire others to use their gifts and work in partnership to transform lives through growing church and building community.
You will find a willingness and energy to look outward, to work in partnership with others and an aspiration to grow the church.
We offer you a desirable 4 bedroomed home within the village of Brailsford on a quiet lane with country views.
