Nine O'Clock Service
The trial of Chris Brain is scheduled to begin on 30 June 2025 at the Inner London Crown Court. This trial relates to serious allegations connected to the Nine O’Clock Service (NOS), which operated in Sheffield between 1986 and 1995. the proceedings will undoubtedly be difficult and emotionally costly, especially for those who are most directly affected, but also for many others. Please see the support being offered by the Church (the NST is working closely with the diocese of Sheffield).
