Preparations are underway for a special Evensong service, following the recent accouncement that The Ven. Matthew Trick, Archdeacon of Derby City and South Derbyshire, has been appointed as next Dean of Guernsey.

Bishop Jackie Searle (Acting Bishop of Derby) and The Very Dean of Derby invite clergy, congregation members, friends of Matthew and community partners, to Evensong on Sunday, 20 September 2026 at 17:15 as this special service will be a "Celebration of Thanksgiving for Matthew's ministry".
