He has been a Reader in Derby Diocese for twenty nine years having been licensed to Glossop Parish Church for the last nineteen years. He has also served for many years as Vice Chair of Glossop Operatic and Dramatic Society and performed in a number of productions over 35 years.

Norman said “I am looking forward to this new phase of ministry and to the challenges and opportunities that serving as a deacon in the Parish will offer and sharing that service with others.”
