The Revd Anita Matthews, Assistant Curate of St Peter and Christ Church with Holy Trinity Derby, has also been appointed Chair of the Derbyshire Churches CNI Partnership. 

The Revd Kenneth Servante, Curate of Chaddesden St Philips 1956 - 1958, Curate of Brampton St Thomas 1958 - 1961, Curate of Wingfield 1961 - 1963, Vicar of Derby St Paul 1963 - 1970, Vicar of Elmton 1970 - 1981, Priest-in-Charge of Winster 1981 - 1982, Priest-in-Charge of Elton 1981 - 1982, Rector of South Darley, Elton and Winster 1982 - 1994, who retired in 1994 and held the Bishop of Derby's Permission to Officiate, died on 13th December 2016. His funeral was held on Friday 23 December at 12 noon, St Giles, Matlock. 

The Revd Michael Yates, Rector of Seale and Lullington with Coton-in-the-Elms and Assistant Curate within the United Benefice of Walton-on-Trent with Croxall, Rosliston with Linton and Castle Gresley (Known as Minister Responsible for Linton and Castle Gresley), Diocese of Derby, will retire with effect from 3rd March 2017.
