Continuing Ministerial Development (CMD)

Revd Susie Curtis, Ordained Ministries Development Officer, has responsibility for the CMD programme for clergy.

CMD Training Opportunities within the Diocese
An hour long online workshop on the third Monday of every month 1-2pm
CMD Upcoming in-person events
We have a number of events for licenced clergy and those who offer a preaching ministry in the diocese
CMD Continuing Ministerial Development Discretionary Grant
An annual CMD grant is available to all licenced clergy to support their ongoing ministerial development
CMD Information for Retreat Grant Application
An annual retreat grant is available to all licenced clergy to support the cost of a retreat or spiritual direction
CMD Sabbaticals - Guidelines for Clergy
Licenced clergy are encouraged to take the gift of a Sabbatical during their ministry
CMD Study Leave - Guidelines for Clergy
Licenced clergy can apply for study leave to support any academic study they are undertaking or similar
