The annual Diocesan Safeguarding Service is an opportunity for everyone in our churches - from parish safeguarding officers, clergy, readers/lay ministers, and congregation members - to gather to worship, consider the work done in every parish to keep people safe, and to reflect on the needs of those who have suffered abuse.
This year we are visiting the Derbyshire Peak and Dales archdeaconry, and people from anywhere in the diocese are invited.
Please come and join the Safeguarding team and the Bishop of Derby as together we celebrate God’s goodness to us and give thanks for all the people in our churches who work to help others thrive in safe worshipping communities.
Refreshments will be served after the service, and everyone is welcome.
